Tapestry Challenge

Weavers participating in the Tapestry Challenge work to an annual theme, creating tapestries no larger than 20×20 cm. These tapestries must arrive in Adelaide by late February each year.

The tapestries are then exhibited across Australia throughout the year before being returned to the participants.

The Royal Adelaide Show Challenge

Each year the HSW Guild hosts and sponsors a fibre craft challenge as part of the Royal Adelaide Show. Full details are in the Show Schedule for each year.

The Guild encourages all members and fibre-craft people to enter the challenge and participate in a fun and enjoyable activity – of pushing the limits of fibre and yarn and crafting ‘outside of the box.’
