Guild Volunteers
Volunteers are vital to the Guild both on meeting days and between meetings
Volunteer Opportunities at the Handspinners and Weavers Guild of South Australia
Have ideas for the Guild? Don’t wait for someone else to take action. Volunteer your time and help us bring new initiatives to life. Here are some ways you can get involved:
Show New Members Around
Do you regularly attend meetings? You can assist by showing new members and visitors around our facilities. This is a significant help to the membership secretary on meeting days.
Serve Morning Tea/Lunch
Lend a hand in the kitchen or library on meeting days. If you enjoy baking, you might enjoy our monthly cake roster. Store-bought goodies are perfectly acceptable too!
Assist in the Guild Library
Our library needs regular helpers. Even if you can only spare half an hour to re-shelve books occasionally, your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Staff the Little Glory Gallery
Help is always needed in the Little Glory Gallery. More members are needed to join the Gallery roster. The Gallery is managed by the Gallery sub-committee, which meets once a month on the 4th Tuesday from 1 pm. Members are welcome to join this group.
Interested in volunteering? Speak to a Committee member at a Guild meeting or email us at info at spinweavesa.org Your contributions make a big difference!
